I love a good scary story but I’m a little bit of a chicken about scary movies. I remember the last one I saw at the theater with my mom Dee. We both screamed and then of course we laughed at our selves for being so silly.  I have to say it was pretty fun. I might just have to go see this one. Of course I will have to read the book first, then maybe it won’t be so scary.

I love a good Steven King story and this movie looks to deliver all the screams and thrills in a way only he can. I think the last one I saw in the theaters was Pet Cemetery. I had read the book already so it wasn’t as scary is it could have been.

The movie is basically about a guy and his son who end up trapped in a grocery store when a mist filled with dangerous creatures, not of this world, rolls into town. The madness that follows becomes a struggle between the monsters outside and the monsters that his friends and neighbors have become inside. It’s amazing what fear will do to people.

The Mist by Stephen King is sure to be an on the edge of your seat horror. Go check out the trailer yourself.
