We have always celebrated Winter Solstice in our family and this year was no different. This year we enjoyed the event put on by the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. The boys really enjoyed the story telling. There was also apple roasting on an open fire, hot cider, drumming, and a candle labyrinth walk. They also released a candle lit lantern that floated off into the dark sky. We didn’t stay too long though because the boys got cold.
And of course they wanted to get home because they get one special present on Solstice. All in all it was a nice evening.
