OK I have been wondering what I wanted to do for math next year? I was thinking about Math-u-see or Saxon but niether of these was exciting me. Yes math can be exciting, in fact, as a kid I loved math. Geometry was my favorite.

Of course as a homeschool mom I have wondered how do I get my kids excited about math? Well I found a web site that might just work for us. Livingmath.net. This site has lesson plans that combine math with history. This would go well with the ancient history we are thinking about doing through Pandiapress.com. I love to combine things into unit studies as much as possible.

I think we are going to do a combination of unit studies and blocks. Anyway check out livingmath.net and I will let you know how it goes after we get started.
