I say you are lucky!
Nothing beats local food!
Here in Shizuoka, we are more than lucky. A prefecture celebrated for its organic food (including one sake!), wasabi (80% of the Japanese production), tea (55%), dried fish (50%). I even know a vegetable sushi restaurant in the western area!
Yes, the Hungry Mouse is a great blog!
