We have started to become regulars at La Dolce Vita. Not only do they sell our gelatos, sorbettos and granitas but they have some good food too.
My kids love the pizza (I do too by the way). They now are serving beer and wine as well. They are going to be serving 18 local beers on tap by the end of the month. Wow. So many choices.

Calzones are a great leftovers meal. When I make pizza on Friday nights I usually have some dough left over. I like to save it in the fridge and it makes quick work of calzones for lunch.
I recommend fresh motzerella with suace and leftover veggies. My kids on the other hand always go for the pepperoni (of course you can hid veggies in calzones too). My kids usually don’t see things inside like they do on top. Yummy!

This is my kids favorite quick meal. These were made with elk sausage, green chile cheese, salsa and tortillas. Definitely a easy southwest meal.

Here’s a great video to enspire you to get those indoor starter plants going. Who wouldn’t love to grow all these heirloom toms. You really have to have a heat sink and start your plants early to get tomatoes to ripen hear in Santa Fe.
