I was very disappointed to read that Plenty Magazine was going out of business. It was first thought that they might dicountinue there print magazine but still keep the web site but as I found on Eccorazzi they are outta here. Bummer.

I don’t know if you remember me blogging about this about two years ago but this project has definitely come a long way. They are currently distributing computers to third world countries. They have a great flickr photo stream that shows different children and schools with the computers.

They have also lanched a program for people to purchase computers for kids or you can buy one for yourself and they will donate one to a child. They are currently selling through amazon.
